Delivery Charges UK

UK Flat rate delivery charge applies to online orders only and is subject to change depending on weight and volume of parcel plus may vary depending on location, Flat rate charges are subject to change but should this be necessary we will advise you of the changes prior to despatch

Alternative Delivery Address

Please note we are only able to deliver to the billing address of the credit card holder unless prior arrangements have been made and authorised by us or you are a established customer, However alternative delivery address's are entirely at our discretion

How we Deliver

All products are delivered either by courier or by post, depending on their size and value. All orders will need to be signed for on delivery, please ensure that a responsible person is available to inspect and sign for the parts you have ordered. Delivery times are only a estimate and cannot be guaranteed

Delivery times United Kingdom

Our delivery aim for most areas of the UK is next business day, this excludes but is not limited to Scotland Scottish highlands, Northern Ireland, the Channel islands, all offshore and remote locations Our dispatch team do try and send all orders where possible the same day but this may be affected during peak periods or other factors such as stock control or constraints by our couriers Delivery times are calculated in working days - i.e. Monday to Friday inclusive (but excluding bank holidays). If you order after 2.00pm, please calculate your delivery time as if your order had been placed the following working day Standard Postal and Courier Deliveries are normally 1 - 3 Working Days depending on the service used but this may be affected by weight and dimensions of your delivery.

IMPORTANT: We do everything we can to meet delivery times and our customers’ expectations however, occasionally delivery times may be affected by factors beyond our control and therefore they cannot be guaranteed. Please allow extra time for deliveries to Scottish highlands and islands, Northern Ireland and the Channel Islands and all remote and offshore locations. Delivery times are only a estimate and cannot be guaranteed

We deliver Land Rover parts to all major UK cities using a next day service so most deliveries reach most areas of the UK within one or two business days subject to our standard terms and conditions.

Returning Parts

At Lix Toll Garage we always hope that you will be happy with your purchases, However we know that sometimes you will need to return or cancel an item and like most companies we do have procedures which must be followed when returning unwanted parts or faulty components purchased from us so before returning any parts to us please read our Terms and Conditions.

There are a multitude of reasons why you may wish to return or cancel your order, and we have a flexible returns policy to help make things more convenient. If you have any questions do not hesitate to contact us.

ORDER CANCELLATIONS

You are free to cancel your order at any time and for any reason before it is dispatched. We take payment upon the submission of an order however until the items are dispatched refunds can be dealt with quickly when an order is cancelled. To cancel your order we need explicit instructions from the person who placed the order confirmed in writing.

An order may not be cancelled after it has been dispatched or while it is in transit, but must be treated as a return. In this eventuality a refund will be provided when the goods are returned to us.

ORDER RETURNS

The vast majority of returns fall into one of four categories, each of which must be treated in a slightly different manner:

  • Unwanted or otherwise unsuitable goods
  • Damaged or defective goods
  • Broken goods under warranty
  • Incorrect goods dispatched

 

Unwanted or unsuitable goods:

You can return unwanted parts for refund or credit within 14 days of purchase or received date if mail order. Your product must be complete, unused and in 'as new' condition (e.g. if you have opened the box to examine the product you must have done so without damaging or marking the product in any way). It should be returned with the original box, packing and accessories plus any installation instructions. You will be entitled to your choice of an exchange item in lieu of a refund. The customer must meet the cost of returns postage for unwanted goods. We cannot accept responsibility for goods in returns transit, and so we recommend that you use registered post or an otherwise insured method.

Damaged or defective goods:

If the box that contains your parts arrives by courier damaged you should refuse the package and notify us immediately You must check your order upon receipt and notify us of any shortages or damaged parts within 24 hours of your order being delivered, claims received after this period will not be accepted incorrect or damaged Parts returned for exchange. You will be entitled to your choice of an exchange or a full refund to the original payment card. We can arrange for a courier pickup of the goods or we can refund your postage expenses (within reasonable limits) upon return delivery. Please note that the warranty given by both Lix Toll Garage and the manufacturers of our products will only cover parts. Labour charges and other costs are not covered.

Broken goods under warranty:

You are free to return broken goods under a warranty claim for the full warranty period after delivery. Your goods may be repaired or replaced, or you may be offered a refund depending on the decision of the manufacturer. We will send the goods to the manufacturer for assessment but the final decision lies with the manufacturer and you may have to wait for their tests to be completed. The customer must meet the cost of returns postage for warranty claims. We cannot accept responsibility for goods in returns transit, and so we recommend that you use registered post or an otherwise insured method. Please note that the warranty given by both Lix Toll Garage and the manufacturers of our products will only cover parts. Labour charges and other costs are not covered.

Incorrect goods despatched:

Occasionally the wrong item is sent to a customer. You are free to return these goods in new & unused condition for 30 days after delivery. You will be entitled to your choice of an exchange for the correct item or a full refund. If you have been mischarged, we will correct the discrepancy. Lix Toll Garage will meet the cost of returns postage for incorrectly despatched goods. We can arrange for a courier pickup of the goods or we can refund your postage expenses (within reasonable limits) upon return delivery.

IMPORTANT: Exchanges will only be made where the same item is available in stock at the same price as the original. Items bought at special offer prices cannot be subsequently exchanged for identical items on sale at higher prices. If an item is not available a full refund may be the only option.

All goods must be returned in new & unused condition unless a warranty claim is being made. We reserve the right to refuse returned goods if necessary. Reasons may include:

  • Goods have been used
  • Goods are soiled
  • Goods have an odour i.e. smoke
  • Goods are damaged as a result of misuse or ill-treatment

Where a full refund is the suitable course of action we have a statutory obligation to refund payment to the card used to pay originally within 14 days of the return of the goods. However we do not believe it is right to hold your money for longer than necessary and so a refund will be provided as soon as possible.

IMPORTANT: Refunds are processed by credit & debit card companies less quickly than sales. A refund may take up to 10 days to appear on your statement after it has been authorised.

EXCHANGES PROCEDURE

If you are returning goods for an exchange we would normally have to wait for the goods to arrive with us and inspect them before we can send out the replacement. However we recognise that sometimes and exchange must be made quickly and so we can send out a replacement immediately. We must take payment for the replacement but as soon as the return arrives we will give you a refund on that cost.

Under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 you have a right to cancel your purchase. However, to exercise this right you must notify us in writing, (email or letter) within 14 working days from the day you receive your goods. (See terms and conditions)
