Answers to some frequently asked questions.


Question:  Why do some vehicles have VAT and others don't?

Answer:  VAT is due on a vehicle when it is purchased from new. If the purchaser is VAT registered they can claim this back. When the vehicle is sold the VAT is still due on this vehicle. 

If the purchaser is not VAT registered then the VAT is not claimed back and when the vehicle is sold there is no VAT to pay. 

Once the VAT has been paid and not claimed back then it is no longer due on that vehicle.


Question:  Can we do anything about the VAT?

Answer:  No, if the price is plus VAT then the VAT must be paid. It is a legal requirment.

Question:  Where are you?

Answer:   We are located just off the A85 at the junction with the A827 to Killin. Our postcode is FK21 8RB.


Question:  Can you service my car even if its not a Land Rover or Isuzu?

Answer:   Yes. Our mechanics and technicians are able to service and maintain a wide variety of makes and models of vehicle. 


Question:  Will you take a trade in?

Answer:  Generally yes we will take a trade in. If you would like to know if we would take your vehicle as a trade in then please get in touch.


Question:  Can you arrange finance?

Answer:   Yes. We can arrange finance through several companies that we deal with.


Question:   Can we come and see the Yellow Tracked Land Rover?

Answer:   Yes, the Tracked Land Rover is usually parked in front of the garage during the day. During the summer we take it to shows across Scotland. We post details of where its going to be on our news page and on facebook.
